Our review of Zota Beach Resort is a mixed bag. On one hand, the resort offers excellent amenities, including a beautiful beach, a pool with a hot tub, and a restaurant with great food. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. We particularly enjoyed the personalized touches, such as the birthday card and champagne waiting for us in our room. The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable, with great views of the ocean.
On the other hand, we experienced some issues with the service. At the bar, it took a long time to get a drink, and the staff seemed overwhelmed. We also had to wait a while for our food at breakfast, and the service was not very attentive. Additionally, the beach chairs and umbrellas are not included in the room rate, which can add to the overall cost of the stay.
One major issue we had was with the cleanliness of the room. The sheets and bathroom were not clean, and we had to complain to get them changed. The front desk staff was not very helpful in resolving the issue, and it took a while to get the problem fixed.
Overall, we would recommend Zota Beach Resort to families with kids, as it has a lot of amenities that are suitable for children. However, we would caution against booking a room here if you are looking for a romantic getaway, as the noise and crowds may not be ideal.
