The shop is wheelchair accessible and provides onsite services. The staff, led by Walt, is known for being knowledgeable, professional, and honest. Many customers praise Walt's ability to diagnose and fix complex issues, as well as his willingness to educate customers on proper boat maintenance. The shop's pricing is generally considered fair, with some customers noting that Walt is willing to work with them to find a solution that fits their budget. However, there have been some instances where customers felt that the shop's prices were not transparent or that Walt did not provide clear explanations for the costs. One notable issue that has been raised by a few customers is Walt's tendency to be gruff or abrupt at times. While this may not be a problem for all customers, it has been a source of concern for some who value a more customer-friendly approach.Overall, Walt's Marine Service is a well-established and reputable shop that has earned the trust of many boat owners in Sarasota.
