The Upham Beach Inn is a solid choice for travelers looking for a convenient and affordable stay in St Pete Beach. The location is a major plus, with the beach, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. The pool area is well-maintained and a great spot to relax. However, some guests have reported cleanliness issues, including roaches and ants. It's also worth noting that some rooms may be smaller than expected, and the air conditioning units can be loud.Guests rave about the friendly and responsive owners, Dave and Melissa, who go out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. The Inn has undergone recent renovations, making it a nice and modern place to stay. However, some guests have reported issues with customer service, including one guest who was accused of lying about their stay and was discriminated against.Overall, the Upham Beach Inn is a good option for travelers who want a convenient and affordable stay in St Pete Beach, but it's essential to be aware of the potential cleanliness issues and customer service problems.
