I stopped by the U-Haul location in Tampa, hoping to rent a moving truck. The facility is easy to find, located on W Hillsborough Ave Avenue, and has a decent parking lot. Unfortunately, my experience with the staff was not great. During a severe storm, I pulled up close to the entrance to drop someone off, but an employee immediately came out and told me I couldn't park there, despite the bad weather. He seemed unaccommodating and didn't consider the circumstances.The facility itself has some amenities, including a restroom and wheelchair-accessible parking and entrance. It also offers onsite services and online estimates and appointments, which is convenient.However, the staff's behavior was a major turn-off. I'm not sure what else to say, as the interaction was quite unpleasant. Overall, I would recommend looking into other options before visiting this location. The working hours are standard, from 7am to 7pm Monday through Thursday and 7am to 8pm on Friday, with adjusted hours on weekends.It's worth noting that the U-Haul location has a co-brand with U-Box, which might be a good option for some customers. However, my experience was not positive, and I would caution others to be prepared for a potentially difficult interaction with the staff.
