The overall experience of living at The Residences at Soho is a mixed bag. The quality of the apartments and amenities is decent, with some reviewers praising the cleanliness and maintenance of the property. However, the pricing is a significant issue, with many reviewers feeling that it is too high for the services and conditions provided. The innovativeness of the property is also a concern, with some reviewers feeling that it is not well-suited to the needs of modern renters. The location of the property is a major advantage, with many reviewers praising the proximity to amenities and services. However, the management and maintenance of the property are a significant issue, with many reviewers expressing frustration with the responsiveness and competence of the staff. One major issue that stands out is the lack of maintenance and repairs, with many reviewers reporting problems with leaks, mold, and other issues that were not addressed in a timely manner. This is particularly concerning given the high prices charged by the property.Another issue is the lack of communication and transparency from management, with many reviewers feeling that they were not kept informed about issues and repairs. This lack of communication can lead to frustration and mistrust among renters. Some reviewers have also reported issues with the leasing process, including delays and difficulties in getting approved for an apartment. This can be particularly frustrating for renters who are trying to secure a new place to live.Despite these issues, there are some positives to note. Some reviewers have praised the friendly and helpful staff, particularly those in the maintenance department. The property's amenities, such as the pool and gym, are also a major plus for many reviewers.Overall, The Residences at Soho is a decent option for renters who are looking for a convenient location and decent amenities. However, renters should be aware of the potential issues with maintenance, communication, and pricing before making a decision. It's worth noting that the management of the property has changed hands recently, and some reviewers have reported improvements in the quality of service and maintenance. However, it's unclear whether these improvements will be sustained over time.I would not recommend this property to someone who is looking for a hassle-free and well-maintained living experience. However, for someone who is willing to tolerate some issues and is looking for a convenient location, The Residences at Soho may be a decent option.
