The Port Hotel and Marina is a charming, casual hotel with a great location on Kings Bay. It offers stunning views, a peaceful atmosphere, and easy access to various activities like swimming with manatees, kayaking, and boat tours. While it's not a luxury hotel, the Port Hotel has a certain old-world charm that many guests appreciate. However, some areas of the hotel are showing its age, and maintenance could be improved in some rooms. Some guests rave about the hotel's restaurant and tiki bar, which serve delicious food and offer great views of the marina. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, but a few guests have had issues with customer service. One major issue is that the hotel is currently under renovation, and some guests have experienced problems with their rooms, such as leaky ceilings and outdated fixtures.Despite these issues, many guests would recommend the Port Hotel for its unique atmosphere, stunning views, and great location. However, those seeking a luxury experience or expecting high-end amenities may want to look elsewhere. It's worth noting that the hotel is currently being renovated and expanded, so things may improve in the future.Overall, the Port Hotel and Marina is a great option for those looking for a relaxed, waterfront experience with plenty of activities nearby. However, guests should be aware of the potential issues with maintenance and customer service before booking.
