The Hites Auto Trade is a used car dealer located on E Hillsborough Ave Avenue in Tampa City. The business is well-regarded for its customer service, with many customers praising the helpful and knowledgeable staff. Mike, in particular, has received numerous compliments for his exceptional service and ability to find the perfect vehicle for each customer. However, the dealership has also received some negative reviews. Some customers have complained about the condition of the vehicles, with one reviewer stating that the interior trim and upholstery were trashed, and there were roaches crawling out of the dash. Another customer reported a huge scratch on the passenger side of the vehicle that was not mentioned by the salesman. There have also been some concerns about the dealership's business practices. A few customers have accused the dealership of misrepresenting the condition of the vehicles, and one reviewer even claimed that the dealership refused to refund payment for a vehicle that was in poor condition.Despite these issues, the dealership seems to be taking steps to improve its reputation. The business has implemented NFC mobile payments, debit cards, credit cards, and checks as payment options, making it convenient for customers to make a purchase. The dealership also offers used goods and has a wheelchair-accessible parking lot and entrance, making it accessible to customers with disabilities.Overall, while the Hites Auto Trade has its flaws, it appears to be a decent option for those looking for a used car. However, potential customers should be cautious and do their research before making a purchase, and be sure to inspect the vehicle thoroughly before signing any contracts.
