The Beachcomber is a laid-back resort on a private beach offering 2 pools, 2 bars & regular live entertainment. It is located at Building 6200, Gulf Blvd Boulevard, St Pete Beach City. I was able to stay at the Beachcomber during a recent trip, and I must say that it was a great experience overall. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the resort was clean and well-maintained. The location was perfect, right on the beach with beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico. However, I do have some criticisms. The rooms were a bit dated and could use some updating, and the bathroom was small and didn't have a lot of natural light. Additionally, the hotel charges a resort fee, which seemed a bit steep considering the amenities were limited. On the positive side, the resort has a great vibe and is a perfect spot for those who want to relax and unwind. The live music at Jimmy B's was a highlight of my trip, and the bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable.Overall, I would recommend the Beachcomber to anyone looking for a relaxed beach vacation. However, if you're looking for a more luxurious experience, you may want to consider other options. Some of the issues I experienced during my stay include:* Dated rooms that could use some updating* Small bathroom with limited natural light* Steep resort fee for limited amenities* Some staff members were not friendly or welcoming* The hotel could use some more amenities, such as a fitness center or spa.On the other hand, some of the positive aspects of my stay include:* Friendly and welcoming staff* Beautiful location right on the beach* Great vibe and atmosphere* Live music at Jimmy B's was a highlight of my trip* Bartenders were friendly and knowledgeableOverall, I would give the Beachcomber a rating of 4 out of 5 stars. It's a great spot for a relaxed beach vacation, but it could use some updates and improvements to justify the higher price point.
