This hotel has a generally positive reputation, with a 4.5 overall score. The quality of the hotel is rated 4.1, indicating that guests have generally positive experiences with the cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms. The pricing is rated 4.2, suggesting that the hotel is considered to be a good value for the price. However, the innovativeness of the hotel is rated 4.3, indicating that while it has made some efforts to update and improve the property, it may not be particularly innovative or cutting-edge in its approach. The hotel's location is a major strength, with many guests praising its proximity to the airport and downtown Sarasota. The staff is also generally friendly and helpful, with many guests commenting on the excellent service they received. However, some guests have noted that the hotel is in need of some updates and renovations, particularly in terms of the rooms and amenities. One major issue that has been noted by several guests is the presence of bed bugs and other pests in some of the rooms. This is a significant concern, and the hotel should take steps to address this issue promptly and effectively. Additionally, some guests have noted that the hotel's continental breakfast is limited and not particularly impressive.Overall, while this hotel has some strengths and weaknesses, it is a generally solid choice for travelers who are looking for a convenient and affordable place to stay in Sarasota. However, it is not without its issues, and guests should be aware of the potential problems before booking a stay.
