I had a visit to the Florida Orthopaedic Institute at Building 6117, Gunn Hwy Highway, Tampa City, where I met Dr. Stephanie J. Epting, DO. The overall experience was decent, with some positives and negatives. On a positive note, the doctor was knowledgeable and professional. She took the time to explain everything thoroughly and answered all my questions. Many patients appreciate her kind and caring approach to their problems. However, there were some issues that might deter some patients from choosing her services. Some of the clients complained about long waiting times, with some waiting for up to an hour and a half after their scheduled appointment time. This can be frustrating for those who have taken time off work or made other arrangements to attend their appointment.Another issue that some patients mentioned was that Dr. Epting can come across as robotic and scripted in her presentation, which might make some patients feel uncomfortable. Additionally, a few patients felt that she was not willing to listen to their concerns or answer their questions in a satisfactory manner.Despite these issues, Dr. Epting has received numerous compliments for her excellent bedside manner, thorough explanations, and willingness to take the time to answer her patients' questions. She has a no-nonsense approach to her practice, which might not be suitable for everyone, but seems to work well for many of her patients.Overall, I would say that Dr. Epting is a competent and knowledgeable doctor, but with some areas for improvement in terms of communication and patient satisfaction. With some adjustments to her approach, she could potentially provide an even better experience for her patients.
