This Gulf Coast park with boardwalks, sand dunes & a swimming beach, plus showers & restrooms is a popular tourist destination. The beach itself is a highlight, with clean and clear water, soft white sand, and a long walk available. Many visitors praise the beautiful sunsets and the peaceful atmosphere. However, some guests mention that the parking is a problem, with limited spaces and high prices. One visitor was unhappy with the $40 ticket they received for parking a minute late. Another guest found the parking numbers difficult to read and the payment machines to be temperamental. The facilities are also a mixed bag. Some visitors praise the cleanliness of the restrooms, while others find them to be smelly and filthy. The amenities, such as the showers and public restroom, are a plus for some, but not for others. Overall, the park is well-suited for families and those looking for a relaxing beach day.
