The business located at Building 9687, W Fort Island Trail Street, Crystal River City offers a unique experience for fishing enthusiasts. The store's wide selection of fishing bait is impressive, and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They also offer a variety of tackle and other fishing gear. The store is conveniently located near the fishing areas, making it a great stop for those looking to grab last-minute supplies. However, some customers have expressed concerns about the quality of the bait, with some reporting receiving bait that is not as fresh as expected. This has resulted in some customers being less than satisfied with their purchases. The prices at Salty Hook Bait and Tackle are generally reasonable, but some customers have reported feeling taken advantage of, particularly when it comes to the live bait. The owner's willingness to engage with customers and provide guidance on fishing techniques is commendable, but some have felt that this comes at the cost of being overcharged for certain items. The business has made efforts to innovate, with a focus on providing a welcoming and inclusive experience for customers. However, some customers have noted that the store could benefit from more diverse product offerings and a more streamlined shopping experience.Overall, Salty Hook Bait and Tackle is a solid choice for those in the area looking for a one-stop shop for fishing supplies. While there are some areas for improvement, the store's friendly staff and convenient location make it a popular destination for anglers.
