This motel has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, making it a great place to stay for families and couples alike. The location is fantastic, right on the beach, and the pool is a nice addition. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean and well-maintained. However, the decor and amenities are somewhat outdated, and the windows in some rooms do not close properly, affecting the level of comfort. One of the main issues that some guests have reported is the lack of hot water in some rooms, particularly on the lower level. This is a significant problem, especially when you're looking forward to a relaxing soak after a long day. It's also worth noting that the rooms can be quite hot during the summer months, due to the window AC units being quite loud.Despite these issues, the motel has a lot to offer, including a private beach, a heated pool, and a courtyard. The rooms are spacious and come equipped with a kitchen, which is a great bonus for families or those who want to self-cater. The location is also convenient, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.Overall, the Sails Resort Apartment Motel is a solid choice for those looking for a relaxing beach vacation. While it may not be the most modern or luxurious option, it has a lot of character and is well-maintained. With a few tweaks to address the issues mentioned above, it could be a truly exceptional place to stay.
