This location is a favorite spot for swimming and hanging out with family and friends. It's a great place to enjoy the beach area, have cookouts, and swim. The campground offers 20 campsites for rent, restrooms with showers, and clean facilities. The camp hosts are very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the boat ramp has some issues - it was damaged during a flood and is now permanently closed. However, swimming, fishing, and kayak launching are still allowed. The staff is friendly, respectful, and helpful. They even do follow-up checks to see how visitors enjoyed their stay and what could be improved. The location can get crowded on weekends, but it's not too bad. Overall, it's a nice spot, but it's not without its flaws. The permanent closure of the boat ramp might be a problem for some visitors.
