The business is a great option for pet owners in Sarasota, with a wide range of services including dog day care, boarding, grooming, and a pet store. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the facility is clean and well-maintained. The prices are reasonable, and the quality of care is top-notch. However, there have been some issues with inconsistent quality and pricing, particularly with regards to grooming services. Some customers have reported receiving overpriced or subpar services, which is disappointing given the high standards of the business. Overall, Poochie's Pampered Pups is a solid choice for pet owners in the area, but potential customers should be aware of the potential inconsistencies.
Some customers have praised the business for its welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, with a focus on providing a safe and fun environment for dogs. The staff is highly trained and experienced, and the facility is designed to provide a stress-free experience for pets. The business also offers a variety of amenities, including a pet taxi service and a retail store with a wide range of pet products.
However, some customers have reported issues with the business's handling of emergencies or unexpected situations. In one case, a customer reported that their dog was injured while in the care of the business, and they were not notified until hours later. This incident led to a negative review and a warning to potential customers to be aware of the business's response to emergencies.
Despite these issues, the business has a strong reputation in the community and is widely recommended by pet owners. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the facility is well-maintained and clean. The business also offers a variety of services and amenities that cater to the needs of pets and their owners.
It's worth noting that the business has been owned by women and is a LGBTQ+ friendly space, which is a plus for customers who value inclusivity and diversity. The business also offers a range of payment options, including debit and credit cards, making it accessible to a wide range of customers.
Overall, Poochie's Pampered Pups is a solid choice for pet owners in Sarasota, but potential customers should be aware of the potential inconsistencies and issues with the business's handling of emergencies. With a focus on providing high-quality care and a welcoming atmosphere, the business is well-positioned to meet the needs of pets and their owners in the area.
