The Polk County Fire Rescue Station 39 is a multi-functional facility that serves the Lakeland community in various capacities, including medical services, emergency care, and community assistance. The fire station is conveniently located on E Main St Street and is accessible to people with disabilities. The amenities include a wheelchair-accessible parking lot and entrance. The working hours of the station are 24/7, making it available to the public at all times. However, one major concern is that the staff might not be empathetic towards all individuals, as evident from the review of a customer who felt dismissed and humiliated by the staff after a fire incident. This lack of understanding and sensitivity might lead to a negative experience for some visitors. The facility's commitment to serving the community is commendable, with staff members going above and beyond to assist in emergency situations, as seen in the review of a customer who received assistance from firefighters after a heart attack. This proactive approach is a testament to the station's dedication to providing top-notch services. The Polk County Fire Rescue Station 39 has received a rating of 3.8 from third-party reviews. The staff's prompt responses and willingness to help in emergency situations have received praise from customers. However, there is a need for improvement in terms of staff empathy and understanding towards individuals who may be experiencing emotional distress.
