This community center, located in Building 5910, University Pkwy Parkway, Sarasota City, is a government office that serves the local residents. The center is wheelchair accessible, making it easy for everyone to get in and out of the building. Unfortunately, the long hours of operation, 24/7, Monday through Sunday, can make it feel like an institution rather than a welcoming community hub. The co-branding with the Police Department of Sarasota District 2 adds an air of authority, but it also feels a bit imposing. Despite this, the center is a valuable resource for the community, providing access to various city government services. However, the phone number, +17609356879, does not give a clear sense of who to contact or what services are available. The overall experience is pleasant, but could be improved with more information about the services offered and how to get in touch with the center.
