I visited PADL, a paddle board and kayak rental service in St Pete Beach City, and overall had a great experience. The staff was helpful, and the equipment was in good condition. However, there were a few issues with the quality of the equipment, such as a broken paddle handle on one of the boards. Despite this, the rental process was easy and the prices were very reasonable. The app was also user-friendly and made it easy to rent and return the equipment.One of the standout features of PADL is its commitment to inclusivity, identifying as a Latino-owned, women-owned, and Black-owned business, as well as being a safe space for the transgender community. This is evident in its welcoming atmosphere and staff.However, I did notice that some of the equipment had issues with locking, which can be a safety concern. This was mentioned by a few other customers as well, and it's something that the staff should look into addressing.Overall, I would recommend PADL to anyone looking for a fun and easy way to rent paddle boards and kayaks. Just be aware that there may be some issues with the equipment, and be sure to check it carefully before heading out on the water.
