I've been to Augusta Metro Treatment Center and can thoroughly recommend it. The counselors, nurses, and director are all very kind and compassionate. They actually care about the patient and the atmosphere is welcoming and supportive. The staff is not judgmental about the reasoning behind the patient's presence. However, one of the issues I noticed is that if you miss one day, they will be calling you to check and make sure you're okay. This might be seen as an overreach by some, but in this case, it's a good thing. The staff is very professional, fair, and kind, especially Ms. Wanda, the program director. She's very approachable and always willing to assist with any inquiries or concerns. The nurses, Kim and Heather, are also very helpful and ensure that the patients rarely face long wait times, allowing for efficient visits. Erica, my counselor, is also exceptional in her role and provides excellent support. The overall experience has been overwhelmingly positive, and I feel lucky to have found this clinic. The facilities are wheelchair accessible, which is a great feature.
