I visited the Mulberry Housing Authority at Building 1306, Larrick Ln Lane, Plant City City, and was impressed with the clean and well-maintained facility. The non-profit organization is wheelchair accessible, with a parking lot and entrance that are suitable for visitors with disabilities. The staff seemed friendly and welcoming, but I didn't have the opportunity to interact with them extensively. The organization's website provides a wealth of information, including its history and mission, as well as resources for residents and the general public. The location is situated in a quiet area, but I wasn't able to find much in the way of nearby amenities or services. There are no obvious signs of innovation or modernization, but the organization seems to be doing its best with the resources it has. The Public Housing aspect of MHA is its main goal and it's clear they put effort into this area. The address on Larrick Ln Lane is a bit difficult to find, and the sign could be more prominent. While the Mulberry Housing Authority is doing some good work in the community, I would have liked to see more opportunities for resident engagement or community outreach. The organization could also benefit from having more hours of operation or extended services for those in need. It's worth noting that some residents might find it difficult to access the restrooms inside the building.
