I visited Intercoastal Medical Group at their location in Sarasota City. The building is located on Cattlemen Rd Road, Suite 210, and has an easily accessible entrance for people with disabilities. The parking lot and restroom are also wheelchair accessible. Inside the office, I found the staff to be friendly and efficient. They offered a patient portal for easy communication, which I found helpful. The waiting time was minimal, and I was able to complete my check-in paperwork before my appointment via email. The office sent me lab results directly to my patient portal, which I appreciated. Dr. Mindy Ward, the primary care physician, was attentive and knowledgeable. She took the time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions. Her bedside manner was caring and compassionate, making me feel at ease during the appointment. One concern that I had was that the office didn't always answer phone calls, but they responded promptly to messages through the patient portal. Overall, my experience at Intercoastal Medical Group was positive, and I would recommend Dr. Ward to anyone looking for a caring and knowledgeable physician.
