The store offers a wide range of pet supplies, including food, toys, and grooming products. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making customers feel at ease when shopping for their pets. One of the standout features of this location is its excellent grooming services. The groomers are experienced and take the time to understand each pet's specific needs, resulting in a high-quality service that leaves pets looking and feeling their best. Many customers have left positive reviews, praising the salon for its attention to detail and excellent customer service. In terms of pricing, Max's Pet Market & Salon is generally in line with other pet stores in the area, offering competitive prices on a wide range of products. However, some customers have noted that the prices can be a bit high for certain items. One issue that has been raised by some customers is the inconsistent quality of the grooming services. While many customers have had excellent experiences, others have reported that their pets received subpar care. In some cases, this has resulted in pets leaving the salon with damaged coats or irritated skin. However, the new management team has acknowledged these issues and is working to improve the quality of service. Overall, Max's Pet Market & Salon on Mirada Boulevard is a solid choice for pet owners in the San Antonio area. With its wide selection of pet supplies, excellent grooming services, and friendly staff, it's a great place to shop for all your pet's needs. However, it's worth noting that the inconsistent quality of the grooming services is a concern that needs to be addressed. Potential customers should be aware of this issue and take steps to research the salon and its staff before bringing their pets in for a groom. By doing so, they can ensure that their pets receive the high-quality care they deserve.
