The International Organization of Masters, Mates & Pilots is located in a convenient spot on W M.L.K. Jr Blvd Boulevard in Tampa City. The building itself is accessible, with a wheelchair-friendly parking lot and entrance. However, the interior layout is not particularly modern or innovative. The office seems to be operating within standard business hours, open from Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, but closed on weekends. The union is closely tied to the labor union movement, as evident from the Co-Brands, Masters, Mates & Pilots, AFL-CIO. Unfortunately, information about the cost of services or membership is not readily available. Nonetheless, the organization has a rich history, dating back to 1887, and provides a range of services to its members. Despite the lack of pricing information, the union seems to offer quality services to its licensed deck officers, marine engineers, and shore-side clerical & service workers. One thing to be aware of is the limited operating hours, which might not be suitable for those who need to visit the office during weekends or outside regular working hours.
