The Manasota Chess Center is a great place for chess enthusiasts to gather, learn, and have fun. The center offers a variety of exciting chess activities, and its mission of promoting the game of chess in the community is truly admirable. The center has a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. They provide classes, tournaments, and even have a DGT board available for play. The center is also wheelchair accessible, making it a great option for players of all abilities. The only drawback is that the center has limited hours of operation, which may not be suitable for everyone. However, the staff is responsive to messages and always willing to accommodate players. Overall, the Manasota Chess Center is a fantastic resource for the local chess community, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in improving their chess skills.
