The City of Lakeland Solid Waste Division is a community-driven government office located in the heart of Lakeland City. Its welcoming atmosphere and clear signage make it easy to find. The office's cleanliness and organization contribute to a pleasant experience for visitors.
During working hours, which are from Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, the office is accessible for people with disabilities, thanks to its wheelchair-accessible entrance and parking lot. However, it's worth noting that the office does not provide services on weekends, which may be inconvenient for some visitors.
Communication with the office is possible through the provided phone number and the official website, which offers a wealth of information about the office's activities and services.
One notable feature of the office is its commitment to sustainability and waste management. Unfortunately, the animal facility, which is co-located with the office, has received negative feedback, indicating that changes are needed to improve the experience for visitors and animals alike.
Overall, the office provides essential services to the community, and its strengths in cleanliness, organization, and commitment to sustainability are notable.
