This is a great park with a lot to offer, from canoe rentals and archery to BMX and RC car tracks. The wooded surroundings and 5 lakes create a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for families, kids, and nature lovers. The park is well-maintained, with clean restrooms, picnic tables, and playgrounds. However, one issue stands out: inconsistent employee behavior, with some visitors reporting unfriendly or unhelpful staff. Despite this, the park's many amenities and activities make it a great destination for those looking for outdoor fun and adventure. The $2 entrance fee is reasonable, and the park's accessibility, including wheelchair-accessible parking and entrance, is a major plus. Overall, Lake Park is a hidden gem worth visiting, with its mix of relaxation and excitement making it a great spot for families and outdoor enthusiasts.
