This community service location is located in a convenient spot in Lakeland City, easy to find on E Edgewood Dr Drive. The building itself is well-maintained and has a large parking lot that is wheelchair accessible, which is great for people with mobility issues. Upon entering the building, you'll find a wheelchair accessible entrance as well. The location is run by Inspiration Ministries - Polk - Food Distribution Center, which is a reputable organization. Unfortunately, there was an incident where a client called in and was met with a very unprofessional response, with a staff member shouting "NO" to their inquiry about the food bank. This kind of service is not what you'd expect from a community service organization.Despite this one issue, the location is generally well-regarded, with a 4.5-star rating from third-party reviewers. The food bank itself seems to be well-stocked, and the staff, while not always professional, seem to be genuinely trying to help those in need. It's worth noting that the phone number provided, +18634096239, is a working number that can be used to contact the location. Overall, this location has a lot of potential, but it needs to work on providing better customer service to live up to its reputation.
