Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs on Gunn Hwy Highway is a solid option for those craving pizza and other Italian-American favorites. While it's not particularly innovative, it makes up for it with consistently high-quality food and reasonable pricing. The pizza, in particular, is a standout, with a flavorful crust and generous toppings. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the service is generally quick and efficient. However, some reviewers have noted that the restaurant can be a bit messy, and there have been issues with incorrect orders and long wait times. Nonetheless, Hungry Howie's is a reliable choice for pizza lovers in the area. One issue that has been reported by several reviewers is inconsistent quality. While some have had excellent experiences with their orders, others have received pizzas with incorrect toppings, undercooked crusts, or a general lack of flavor. It's worth noting that Hungry Howie's has a wide range of toppings and crust options, which can sometimes lead to mistakes. However, it's also possible that the restaurant's quality control measures could be improved to minimize these issues.Overall, Hungry Howie's is a solid choice for those looking for a quick and delicious pizza. While it may not be the most innovative or high-end option, it's a reliable and affordable choice that's sure to satisfy your pizza cravings.
