I have visited Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Winter Haven, FL several times and had mixed experiences. The staff is generally friendly and welcoming, but the quality of the services can vary depending on the therapist. Some of the therapists are very skilled and knowledgeable, while others may not be as effective. The pricing is reasonable, but I have felt that some of the services are overpriced for what you get. One of the issues I have with this spa is the lack of consistency in the services. I have had massages and facials with different therapists and have had different experiences each time. Some of the therapists seem to be more interested in chatting with me during the service than actually providing a good experience. I have also felt that some of the services are rushed, with the therapist not taking enough time to address all of my concerns. Despite these issues, I have had some good experiences at Hand & Stone. Some of the therapists are excellent and really know their stuff. The spa itself is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is generally friendly and accommodating. I have also appreciated the variety of services offered, including massages, facials, and other spa treatments. However, I do have one major issue with this spa, and that is the difficulty in getting a cancellation or rescheduling fee waived. I had to schedule an appointment and then had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. When I tried to get the cancellation fee waived, I was met with resistance and was told that it was not possible. This was very disappointing, as I had expected a more understanding and accommodating approach from the spa. Overall, I would give Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Winter Haven, FL 4 out of 5 stars. While I have had some good experiences here, I also have some significant issues with the quality of the services and the difficulty in getting a cancellation or rescheduling fee waived.
