I visited Grande Oasis at Carrollwood, and my experience was mixed. The location is beautiful, with a large lake and outdoor space, which is great for residents who enjoy nature. The amenities, such as the swimming pool, fitness center, and on-site parking, are also a plus. However, the quality of the apartments and maintenance leaves much to be desired.I noticed that many residents have complained about the lack of attention to maintenance issues, including pest control and repairs. Some have even reported being charged for unnecessary fees, which is unacceptable. The staff, while friendly and welcoming, seem to be overwhelmed and unresponsive to resident concerns. One of the major issues I encountered was the trash situation. Piles of garbage would sit for days without being collected, creating an unbearable stench that seeps into the air. This is not only unpleasant but also a health concern. I was surprised that the management did not take immediate action to address this issue.Despite these problems, I did have some positive interactions with the staff. Janira, in particular, was helpful and attentive during my visit. However, her efforts were not enough to outweigh the negative experiences I had with the management.Overall, I would not recommend Grande Oasis at Carrollwood to anyone looking for a well-maintained and responsive community. The issues with maintenance, staff unresponsiveness, and trash management make it a frustrating place to live. While the location and amenities are nice, they are not enough to compensate for the numerous problems I encountered. As a resident, I would suggest that the management prioritize addressing the maintenance issues and improving communication with residents. This could include implementing a more effective pest control system, increasing the frequency of trash collection, and providing regular updates on maintenance schedules. By doing so, they may be able to improve the overall quality of life for residents and turn Grande Oasis at Carrollwood into a more desirable community.
