The Glades at Gulf View Apartments are located in Port Richey, FL, close to dining, shopping, and the beach. The complex offers a range of amenities, including a swimming pool, fitness center, dog park, and free parking lot. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, with some reviewers praising the office staff, particularly Nicole and Kim, for their professionalism and assistance. However, some reviewers have reported issues with the management team, citing dishonesty, poor policies, and a lack of accountability. One reviewer claimed that the office manager tried to charge them a couple of hundred dollars for miscellaneous items without providing any proof or explanation. Another reviewer reported that the management refused to lower their rent despite the market dropping and threatened to fine them for various infractions. The apartments themselves have received mixed reviews, with some reviewers praising their spaciousness and modern amenities, while others have reported issues with construction quality, including creaky floors, poor insulation, and broken fixtures. Some reviewers have also reported problems with pest control, including ants and cockroaches, and maintenance issues, such as broken gates and leaky faucets. The complex has also been criticized for its safety concerns, with some reviewers reporting that the gate is often broken and that there is a high crime rate in the area. One reviewer even claimed that the management had a "no decrease policy" and refused to lower their rent despite the market changing.Despite these issues, some reviewers have reported having a positive experience at the Glades at Gulf View Apartments, citing the friendly staff, clean grounds, and well-maintained amenities. However, the overall quality of the complex is marred by the inconsistent and sometimes dishonest behavior of the management team. The pricing of the apartments has been praised by some reviewers, who have noted that the rents are competitive with other complexes in the area. However, others have reported that the prices are high, especially considering the quality of the apartments and the services provided. In terms of innovativeness, the complex has introduced some new amenities and services, such as the dog park and the fitness center, which have been well-received by some reviewers. However, the complex has also been criticized for its lack of innovation in addressing the issues that have been reported by residents.Overall, the Glades at Gulf View Apartments are a mixed bag, with some reviewers praising the friendly staff and amenities, while others have reported issues with the management team, construction quality, and safety concerns.
