This location is a great destination for families with kids, as it's good for them. The trail is nicely paved and has plenty of morning shade. It's long, with distance markers and signs of encouragement along the way. However, it can be noisy due to being parallel to the road and having weekday rush traffic nearby. One notable issue is the presence of homeless folks living in the woods at the south end of the trail, so visitors need to be careful. The bathrooms may not be open at all times, which could be a problem for some users.
