This motel is a hidden gem in Tampa City, and it's great to see a small family-owned business thriving in the area. The manager is clearly the heart and soul of the place, taking the time to ensure that every guest feels welcome and taken care of. Despite the motel's age, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is diligent in maintaining the property. One issue to note is the presence of cigarette burns in the sheets, which is not exactly what you'd expect from a quality motel. However, this seems to be an isolated incident, and the staff's effort to address it should be commended. The motel's pricing is very competitive, making it an attractive option for travelers on a budget. However, it's worth noting that the amenities are relatively basic, which might not suit everyone's expectations. The Columbia Motel's location is also a major plus, with easy access to major roads and attractions. The staff is friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable.Overall, this motel is a great option for travelers who prioritize value and a personal touch. Just be sure to ask about the smoking policy before booking a room.
