This location of the financial service offers a unique way to turn loose change into something more useful. The Coinstar kiosk is located at a convenient spot, inside a Walmart store. The kiosk itself is easily accessible, with a wheelchair-accessible parking lot and entrance.
The service works well, it's automated and self-explanatory, but the selection of gift cards with no fee is quite limited. The fee for exchanging coins to cash is quite high at 11.9%, which might not be suitable for everyone.
The ability to send funds to a charity with no fee is a great feature, but the choice of charities is restricted.
It's a decent option for those who need to exchange small coins for more easily spent paper money.
