Coconut Grove Resort is a pleasant spot with some shortcomings. This hotel offers cozy accommodations in a down-to-earth setting with free Wi-Fi and parking, plus an outdoor pool. The resort is located near the beach, and the pool and bar areas are well-maintained. However, some guests have reported issues with cleanliness, outdated furniture, and lack of amenities. One issue that stands out is the inconsistent quality of the rooms. Some reviewers have mentioned finding dirty towels, stained couches, and old televisions. This suggests that the resort may not prioritize maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance across all rooms. On the positive side, many guests have praised the resort's location, staff, and overall ambiance. The outdoor pool and bar area are popular with guests, and the resort's proximity to the beach makes it an attractive option for those looking for a beach vacation. The pricing at Coconut Grove Resort seems reasonable, considering the amenities and location. Guests have reported a range of prices, from around $100 to over $200 per night, depending on the season and availability. In terms of innovativeness, the resort has made some efforts to update its amenities and services. However, some guests have noted that the resort could benefit from more innovative approaches to customer service and room maintenance.Overall, Coconut Grove Resort is a decent option for those looking for a beach vacation in Clearwater. While it has some drawbacks, the resort's pleasant atmosphere and convenient location make it a good choice for those willing to overlook some of its shortcomings.
