The place is an excellent gathering spot with a cozy atmosphere, great selection of beer and wine, and friendly staff. Many customers appreciate the dog-friendly policy, making it a popular spot for dog owners. The tavern offers a wide range of entertainment options, including darts, pool, karaoke, and arcade games, which cater to different tastes and age groups. There is a great selection of craft beers, and the owners take the time to explain the different options. Some customers mention that the tavern has a very welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, making everyone feel at home. However, one major issue is with cleanliness, where one customer reported an unpleasant experience after finding a toilet, a piano that seemed to have been outside for over a year, broken chairs, and trash. This highlights the importance of maintaining a clean and well-maintained environment. Overall, Captain's Tavern appears to be a great spot for those looking for a fun and welcoming atmosphere, but a bit more attention to cleanliness and maintenance is necessary.
