The Budget Truck Rental location on S Tamiami Trl Trail in Sarasota City has received mostly negative reviews from customers. While some reviewers have had positive experiences with friendly service and good prices, many have reported issues with the company's ability to meet their reservations and provide reliable customer service. Several reviewers have mentioned that they were told there were no trucks available for pick-up, even though they had confirmed their reservations online or over the phone. One reviewer had to travel to three different locations to find a truck, while another was quoted an extra $900 without explanation. Some reviewers have also reported issues with the cleanliness of the trucks and the company's handling of customer complaints. The company's communication and problem-solving skills have been called into question, with some reviewers feeling that they were not taken seriously or treated unfairly. The only major issue seems to be the reservation and customer service problem.Reviewers have mentioned that the company's system does not seem to accurately reflect available trucks, leading to confusion and disappointment for customers. This has resulted in customers having to spend extra time and money to find alternative solutions. The company's customer service representatives have also been criticized for being unhelpful and unresponsive to customer complaints. Some reviewers have praised the company's prices and overall value, but these positive comments are far outweighed by the negative reviews. Overall, the Budget Truck Rental location on S Tamiami Trl Trail in Sarasota City seems to be struggling with its ability to meet customer needs and provide reliable customer service.
