This park is a wonderful destination for families with kids, as it's great for them. There is a place where you can launch kayaks into the ICW. There is a long dock for non-motorized boats, and it's clean and modern. However, the parking lot can be dusty. The park is wheelchair accessible, which is convenient. There is a dedicated launch site across the bridge for powered boats. The park has clean and modern restrooms. Being on the ICW, the water can be swift, so be prepared to paddle at a good pace if you're heading south. There is a good chance to see dolphins while paddling. There is a dedicated kayak rental nearby, a restaurant, and a tiki bar. The fishing in this location is excellent. However, the park has suffered from red tide and algae, and there may be toxic warnings.
