This location is a great spot to unwind and relax in nature. Visitors can observe many osprey, making it a wonderful place for birdwatching. The 11-acre preserve has a peaceful atmosphere, with easy-to-navigate sandy trails that wind through oak scrub habitat and pine flatwoods. Unfortunately, it can be challenging to find the parking area, which is located in the church parking lot. The preserve is wheelchair accessible, and dogs are allowed, but only if they are on a leash. It's essential to note that some trails may be closed during eagle nesting season, from October to May. Overall, this location is an excellent choice for those seeking a serene and quiet experience in a natural setting.
