Azalea Park is a retirement home located in Lakeland City, offering a comfortable living experience for independent seniors. The park has a beautiful landscape and a welcoming lobby, making it a pleasant place to visit. However, some visitors have reported issues with the cleanliness and maintenance of the facilities, including cockroaches and dirty furniture in the hallways and lobby. The staff at Azalea Park seems to be friendly and caring, with many reviewers praising the community's activities and amenities, such as dining services and a library. However, some residents have complained about the quality of food and the lack of attention to their needs, particularly with regards to pest control. The pricing of Azalea Park is not clearly stated, and some reviewers have mentioned that the facility is expensive, but the value is not clear. The community has some innovative features, such as being LGBTQ+ friendly and having a gender-neutral restroom. However, there is a lack of information about the park's innovativeness. One major issue that has been consistently reported by visitors and residents is the presence of cockroaches in the facilities. Several reviewers have mentioned that they have encountered cockroaches in their rooms, and despite reporting the issue to management, nothing has been done to address the problem.Overall, Azalea Park seems to have a mixed reputation, with some visitors and residents enjoying their experience, while others have been disappointed with the cleanliness and maintenance of the facilities.
