I visited this labor union, located in the heart of Tampa City, and was underwhelmed by the experience. The building and facilities are wheelchair accessible, which is a plus. However, the union's priorities seem to be misplaced, as evident from a long-standing issue with part-time drivers. They were given limited choices for time, days, and routes for an astonishing 18 years, resulting in some losing years of seniority. As a seasoned member, it's disappointing to see such a lack of consideration for families and employees. It's a shame that this union didn't take a more proactive approach to addressing these concerns. Despite being affiliated with a reputable organization, Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1593, this specific location falls short. With a minimal level of care for its members, it's clear that this union is not living up to its potential.
