The client had been suffering from chronic ear infections and went to the hospital at 5 am with intense pain, dizziness, and muffled hearing. Dr. Newman examined the client's ear and told them that there was nothing wrong, despite the client's symptoms. However, it was later found out that the client had a major swelling, an outer ear infection, an impacted eardrum, and fluid behind the eardrum, which could not have been missed by a proper examination.This lack of attention and expertise from the emergency care physician raises serious concerns about the quality of care provided at this location.
