Where my Dogs at? Hot Dog Eating Contest

Think you've got what it takes to be Tampa's top hot dog champion? Put your appetite to the test at the Hot Dog Eating Competition during the Heights District Fourth of July Celebration at Armature Works.

The action starts at 7 p.m. on the Riverfront Stage, where competitors from across the Tampa Bay area will battle it out to see who can eat the most hot dogs in just five minutes. Expect plenty of cheering, friendly rivalry, and Independence Day fun as contestants race against the clock.

The grand prize winner will walk away with a $500 gift card, the championship belt, and, of course, year-long bragging rights. Second- and third-place finishers will each receive a $100 gift card, while every participant gets an event T-shirt to commemorate the challenge.

All competitors will be taking on premium all-beef hot dogs from Harry's Weiners, one of Armature Works' local favorites.
