Once upon a time, there was an ogre named Shrek who just wanted to be left alone in his swamp. But when a whole bunch of fairy tale characters show up on his doorstep, his peaceful life gets turned upside down.

Determined to reclaim his home, Shrek sets off on a wild adventure with Donkey, his talkative and endlessly entertaining sidekick. Along the way, they encounter a feisty princess who isn't exactly waiting around to be rescued, a short-tempered villain, an opinionated gingerbread cookie, and a whole crew of fairy tale misfits.

What follows is a hilarious journey full of unexpected twists, unlikely friendships, and a reminder that true beauty goes way beyond appearances. Turns out, being a hero doesn't always mean fitting the mold - sometimes, it means embracing what makes you different.

Based on the hit film, this stage adaptation features a book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire and music by Jeanine Tesori. The production is directed by Shain Stroff.
