Liberty by the Bay. Tampa’s 250th Independence Day Celebration

This free, family-friendly event marks America's 250th birthday with a full day of entertainment along the waterfront. The highlight of the evening is a spectacular 250-drone light show honoring the nation’s milestone anniversary, followed by a fireworks display lighting up the Tampa skyline.

There’s plenty happening throughout the day, including a Kids Zone packed with activities, food trucks serving local favorites, a beer garden, live bands and DJs, and a market featuring young entrepreneurs and community organizations. Visitors can also catch a patriotic pet show, watch water skiers perform on the Hillsborough River, and join the Kids Liberty Procession.
