Join us on Thursday, July 2, for a presentation by photographer Zack Wittman, co-creator of "Cigar City" (2025). Developed in partnership with J.C. Newman Cigar Company - the last operating cigar factory in the United States - the book captures the rich legacy of Tampa’s cigar-making heritage through striking photography.
During the event, Wittman will share the stories behind his images documenting the 24 surviving cigar factories in the region. These historic buildings, preserved in different stages of restoration, reuse, and decline, offer a fascinating glimpse into an industry that helped shape the city’s identity.
