Get ready for a night of theatrical rock and outrageous stage spectacle as GRAMMY-nominated artist and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Alice Cooper brings his Alice’s Attic Tour to Ruth Eckerd Hall this fall!
Widely regarded as a pioneer of shock rock, Cooper transformed live performances by combining hard rock with horror-inspired theatrics, vaudeville, and larger-than-life stage effects. His signature shows have featured everything from guillotines and electric chairs to snakes and macabre visual surprises, creating a concert experience unlike any other.
Cooper’s story began with a band formed in Phoenix in the late 1960s, signed by Frank Zappa in 1969. The group broke through with Love It to Death in 1971 and went on to release classic albums including School’s Out and Billion Dollar Babies. Cooper later launched a successful solo career with Welcome to My Nightmare (1975), followed by the hit album Trash and its popular single “Poison” in 1989.
Still active decades into his career, Cooper continues to tour and explore new creative projects. His 2026 album, The Revenge of Alice Cooper, reunites the original band for their first collaboration since 1973, with longtime producer Bob Ezrin back at the helm. Beyond music, Cooper has appeared in stage productions and films, published his memoir Golf Monster, and hosted the syndicated radio show Alice’s Attic. His contributions to broadcasting were recognized with his induction into the Radio Hall of Fame in 2025.
With a career spanning generations, Alice Cooper remains a defining figure in rock, known for blending unforgettable music with theatrical spectacle. Don’t miss the chance to experience his legendary stage presence live at Ruth Eckerd Hall!
