After the fireworks are over, it's time to help keep Tampa Bay looking its best. Join Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful for the annual After the 4th Cleanup, a community volunteer event dedicated to removing litter left behind after Independence Day celebrations.
Each year, thousands of people gather across the region to celebrate the Fourth of July, but those festivities can leave trash in local parks, along shorelines, and in waterways. Volunteers are invited to pitch in the following morning and help restore these popular outdoor spaces for everyone to enjoy.
Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful will provide cleanup equipment and drinking water for participants. To cut down on single-use waste, volunteers are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle. Closed-toe shoes are required, and dressing for Florida's summer weather—with sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat—is highly recommended.
Whether you're passionate about protecting local waterways or simply looking for a meaningful way to give back, this cleanup is a great opportunity to make a difference in the Tampa Bay community.
