We visited many martial arts schools before deciding where to enroll our kids. Since our kids are complete beginners, we wanted a place that could give them a strong foundation. At other schools, kids were taught the exact same moves regardless of belt level. At Wesley Chapel Martial Arts Academy, the Masters group students by ability and teach techniques that match their current skill. And the Masters don’t just teach martial arts techniques, they also teach discipline, responsibility, and respect. The environment is clean, organized, and respectful. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Grand Master Habib and the instructors emphasize awareness, adaptability, and personal growth, not just technique. What truly sets this academy apart is its strong sense of community. It offers high-quality programs for both children and adults, along with after-school programs, camps, and opportunities that support long-term development. However, there is a concern that needs to be mentioned - the staff might not be prepared to handle children with unique needs, such as autism. One reviewer had a concerning experience where the staff member asked about their child's medication and behavior, which was perceived as unprofessional and insensitive.Overall, Wesley Chapel Martial Arts Academy is a great place for kids to learn martial arts, develop discipline, and grow as individuals. With its welcoming environment, expert instructors, and community-oriented approach, it's an excellent choice for families.
