This hotel is a hidden gem in Downtown St.Petersburg, offering an excellent experience for guests. The hotel's beautiful character-filled property and lovely sparkling clean rooms make it a standout. The location is superb, with easy access to many attractions, museums, restaurants, and the fully new St Pete Pier. Guests have praised the hotel's great hospitality, with many highlighting the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The attention to detail in the decor and ambiance creates a cozy and inviting environment.While some guests have mentioned that the hotel's owner can be a bit strict, particularly in regards to breakfast options, the vast majority of guests have had a wonderful stay. Guests appreciate the free parking, continental breakfast, and the cleanest rooms they've ever stayed in. Many have also praised the hotel's perfect location, great places to sit and chat, and eat and drink. The hotel is a romantic and quiet getaway, perfect for couples and solo travelers alike.However, one guest had a disappointing experience due to a misunderstanding about the hotel's offerings. The guest booked a room that was supposed to come with a continental breakfast, but was instead provided with a Keurig machine, a toaster oven, and a microwave, and told to bring their own breakfast to cook. This guest was also made to feel unwelcome due to the owner's smoking on the porch outside the guest's room. This incident highlights the importance of clear communication between hotel staff and guests.
